I'm ready for a new phone, I got a K1m last November and it's just time to move on. I'm really interested in a Mogul but am having a hard time trying to find the best deal. This November I can renew my Sprint contract for another 2 years for just the $75 rebate (because 1 year ago I got the $150 for the k1m) and I don't think that's really worth it. The buy/sell part of this forum just went for premium members so that's an additional $20 I gotta drop to just view that section. I'm still in college and my dad foots my phone bill, so really getting a plan like SERO isn't necessary. I know a lot of people here are obsessed with phones and do their best in keeping them in mint condition, so I'm thinking buying an old one is probably the best way to go off these forums. I guess I'm just looking for any other suggestions, thanks.

Just look for a legit seller on ebay as well. I know alot of people don't like ebay. I use ebay quite often and have yet to have a problem with something I have bought off there. Just look for one that is in decent condition and being sold by someone..not a company. I still wouldn't expect to pay below $300-$350 for one though. If you find one for less then that..something is def. wrong with it. Also check out craigslist for people in your local area maybe selling one.

I'm going to wind up upgrading to the Touch, i have a mogul in prestine condition (screen protector on it since it came out of the box, never dropped, always kept in leather case, i have all original accessories in perfect condition, some still in the original plastic wrapping). I was going to sell it on Ebay, if you want to hang in there for one more week id be glad to sell it to you for around $300. Email me:

+1.

I got my mogul on ebay for $275, + $10 shipping, total of $285.

I intiially thought I was having problems with the memory card slot but eventually worked that kink out. I added TEP to it just to be on the safe side.

I'd probably stay away from the sellers on ebay who are listing "just a refurb phone and a battery, no accessories" type auctions. Since the mogul has been out for such a short period of time, I'd rather buy from somebody selling their used phone that they got new, than to buy a refurb, but I might just be weird that way.

thanks for the offers guys. i'm talking with someone now about a barely used mogul for 375, but if that falls through i'll be sure to holler at you in a week's time.

I called the cancellation of service number and told them my phone broke (which is true) and I thought it was unfair paying $550 for the Mogul when on Sprint's website, new customers could get it for $299. She charged my bill $299 and now I'm waiting for my Mogul. :)

Anyone still use Craigslist?
I got brand new Mogul for $350 there. The lady even drove to my job after work to give it to me...

I was able to find one that was 30 days used, extra battery, car charger, extra case, screen protectors, extra wall charger, and all OEM accessories for $300 on Craigslist.

If any of you all are still looking into getting a good deal for the Mogul check this out on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/HTC-Mogul-PPC-6800-Smartphone-Sprint/dp/B000UV36KA/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-2998888-4706435?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1193903593&sr=8-1). It's $99.99 after rebates!!! Oh.. I think it's no tax and free shipping too.

According to that amazon page it's a Samsung Upstage Mogul. Apparently they have it listed as made by samsung. The price is the Samsung Upstage's price, and they do say samsung upstage once at the bottom of the ad.

I have my Mogul up on ebay if anyone is interested. It's 329. But I haven't had any luck selling it at that price. Think I'm going to drop it to $299.
