I'm looking for a parts phone mostly. needs to have a decent casing without broken hinges and a working screen. bad ESN ok. looking to spend about 10-15 with shipping, and it can be the really slow shipping. my roommate's 5500 is hanging by a thread, gave him a loaner, and he's eligible for an upgrade. i want the 5500 as a backup. let me know what you've got. thanks!

Is your title a typo? The 5500 and the 5400 are completely different phones. The 5400 lacks a camera and the ability to do sms text messages.
Are you confusing it with the scp-5500/vm-4500 which is the two different names for the same phone?

no, i can use the 5400 because ideally i want to do a two tone 5500... the back piece and battery are good on the 5500. i basically need the hinges and screen... I'm 99% sure those parts from the 54 will work on the 55. just trying to expand my market a bit..
