Let me just start off by saying I love the Razr2. It is a great upgrade from my m610.

The overal design of the phone is great. It IS a LITTLE big, but not too bad. It is a little bigger than the m610 but nothing extremely noticable.
The external screen is amazing. The only thing I don't like about it is that the caller ID photos do not take up the whole screen. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to reply to text messages on the external display but not a big deal. It is still very nice to just be able to read it on the outside screen. I wish if you recieve more than one message, you could scroll through them but that is not possible either. The touch screen buttons are pretty cool, I love the little vibrate. It's nice that you have to hold them down to avoid starting the media player in your pocket. The keybad is nice, I like it better than the m610 because it has more texture, not just flat. The overall feel of this device is very durrable. I like the metal design.

The camera is VERY similar to the m610, however on the razr2 you can zoom, which is one feature is missed on the m610. the pictures turn out nice and there are fun frames and stuff that you can add to the pictures just like the m610.

The UI is very similar, same menus and stuff but just a slightly different design. Its a good change. I still prefer the moto theme over any of the downloadable ones. Also, there is a great selection of screen savers to choose from, animated and all. The web browser works great. The Sprint TV on this phone is much better than the m610, it is an updated version with a better design and you can also watch tv from the outsidel. There is lag in the UI. It is very laggy compared to the m610 unfortinatly. But I got used to it real quickley. Its NOT as bad as the v3m and other motorola phones.

The music player is still the same as every other sprint phone, unfortanitly. It has very limited cababilities, especially from the outside (you cant even choose what song, you can just choose next) unlike the build in media player. I wish sprint would update this.

The text and picture messaging are the same for the most part, very easy to use.

Speaker phone works better on the razr2. You can acutally use it while th ephone is closed. Also, the voice command is a great feature for this phone. it even works when the phone is closed. The speaker phone is louder and more clear than the m610. Additionally, the ringers are MUCH louder on this phone than the m610, which is GREAT.

I like the fact that you can change the ringer volume and vibrate, not vibrate with the phone closed via the volume keys. I've always wanted this feature in my previous phones.

The battery life is seriously not as bad as people say it is. If run the batter completely dead and recharge it all the way about 3 times then you are in good condition. I charge my phone every night and it lasts throught the whold day unless im mass texting or web browsing. The battery life is a little weaker on razr2 than the m610 but it is nothing i would return the phone for.

2 other features I really enjoy with this phone are the notepad and the tip calculator. these are very handy and easy to access.

Overall, the m610 and the Razr2 are very similar, however the Razr2 makes a great upgrade with its larger screens and newer up to date features. This is definatly one of sprints best phones.
