I think Bill Belichick, in addition to the fine should be suspended. The bottom line is that he cheated. Everyone knows the Patriots will pick up the fine, so basicly he walks away with no penalty.

Over the years he has been a very arrogant coach, to his players, other coaches and the press. It just seems he thinks he's above the law and I wish they would slam him for it!

heh...i was watching sportscenter, and for the patriots highlights every offensive play the announcer said "looks like they knew exactly where the defense was going to be!"

after about the 3rd play when they said that i was cracking up

Thats pretty funny, but Im sure the Jets weren't amused, lol. Then again I am sure they will appreciate the extra draft picks next season. :headbang2

In reference to the title of your thread, apparently (at least) since last season. lol

Actually, it's been alleged that it goes all the way back to the Superbowl a few years ago against the Eagles. Several Eagle players claim that it seemed odd that after the first quarter, the Patriots ALWAYS knew when they were going to blitz, and called a screen pass play. I think the league should force the fine to come from Belechik, and not let Bob Kraft pick up the "Tab" on this one. This scandal is going to cast doubt on the team for a long time to come, and it's unfortunate for the players that go out there and give their all every week. Oh well....good thing I'm not a Pats fan!
