I have had this phone a week now. I switched from a Treo 755p to this phone. The overall build quality is awesome to say the least. It is a sturdy well built piece of equipment. The exterior screen is very large and clear. The smart key, volume rockers (on the housing, not the flip) and camera keys are all tight and fit well. The exterior screen houses three touch sensitive buttons (that sometimes need a little tap to activate) for camera, music, and tv. Once activated, the buttons turn into a selective type system with up, down, selct, and others depending on menu type. The camera is on the flip and has no flash. Once you open the glip the interior screen is just as nice as the exterior screen. The standard RAZR keypad feel and look is still there. All of the button responses with flip open or closed have a vibrate feedback to them. The menus are fast and snappy, with the exception of the volume rocker which takes a few secs to pop up so you can visibly see the status. The menus are pretty customizable, along with the dpad settings. The camera is easy to use, and takes decent pictures for a camera phone. The voice recorder can be adjusted up to 30 mins using the exterior memory card. The battery life is the only con as far as operation that I can see. General usage (less than 1 hour of phone calls, less than 20 text, and no camera or internet useage or music) I can squeeze just 10 hours out of it. I have no problem charging a phone every night, but I would expect the battery to atleast go 20 hours with the very little use I have tested this one with thus far. Coming over from a smartphone platform, I find the phone easy to use, but a huge pain in the rear! After 1 week, I have decided to place it on ebay and go back to a smart phone platform. If the standard flip phone user can get an extended battery, or dont mind having it plugged in 2 to 3 times a day, then it will most likely fit your bill. If anyone has any specific questions, let me know and I will do my best to answer them. dont ask about music, because I do not use a phone for that at all.
