I was calling customer service when I received the notice of an update. I cancelled my Vision service because I didn't feel like paying for slow service unless I was traveling through a major city. I may have to turn it back on now. :D

So, the big question is, is it Rev. 0 or Rev. A? I had heard they were skipping straight to Rev. A since it has been delayed so long. What kind of speeds are we talking about?

I tested it a few times and got speeds from 80 to 160kbit/sec. on my 8400.And that was on 100k test.

Is anyone else getting a flaky connection? Power Vision service comes and goes for me at home near Pleasantburg Dr. and I-385. It's worse on Woodruff Rd.

It took me 20 seconds to download a 160KB game. According to my calculations that's a whopping 64Kbps. :td:

maybe try updating your power vision profile.

The Power Vision network has been on the fritz for a couple of months now, that I've noticed. It seems to have its good days and bad, no matter which state I'm in.

Is there a site to see when future sites are going where?

Haha, I have a friend that lives in greenville and he's complained for a long time about no evdo..... I was down there the weekend of the 31st and I noticed evdo on my phone..... Pretty slick.

BTW, I don't think the M1 is rev A is it? Are any phones rev A beside the mogul (and that update hasn't even been released yet to my knowledge)?

EDIT: Both phones are EVDO Rev. 0. Rev A will not help those devices. I'm pretty sure no phones are actually utilizing Rev A yet, but maybe I'm wrong.

The A900 supports Rev. A according to the specs. Pages load in 1-2 seconds when I'm in Charlotte.

I can't remember where I saw it, but I swear it said the A900 supported both Rev. 0 and Rev. A. :(
