but my upstage just broke. i was setting a screensaver and it froze. and now it when it tries to boot up. the multimedia side says sprint. and the phone side just has half a screen with green. it wont charge either. so should i just complain to sprint and maybe suck out 150 off the new razr? or shud i just claim insurance and possibly get another defective phone? any suggestions? even if its not wut i listed. thanks

how is the razr2 only $150 for you? if it's available for that cheap, I'd get it.

If you are eligible for a $75 or $150 upgrade credit, then you can get that applied toward the purchase of the RAZR2. If you're not eligible for any sort of upgrade credit, then your insurance claim will replace your defective phone with the exact same model, assuming that it's still available (and the Upstage is). You CANNOT file an insurance claim and request a different phone model.

no i would get 150 off the phone. but, i jsut called and the guy says he understands and may have a way to work sum discounts out. and he put notes on my account so that i can get a phone for less. and ive heard the razr is pretty cool tho.

manufactures warrenty covers the phone for one year.

50 bucks will get you a new one I believe.

if you have tep just take it to the store they'll replace it at no extra cost

You would take it to a Sprint store. I think they have the paperwork for the warrenty claim information.

Take it to a service center....if you don't have Total Equipment protection its gonna be $55...unless you do a manufacturers warranty...if you do have TEP then it's gonna be free.

if you have tep take it to a service center if there are no signs of water damage or damage to the phone or board they will do an advance exchange at no charge for warranty issues you have to contact samsung, and work it out with them. most stores don't deal with manufacture warranty but i would call before you waste gas and time

Even if you are going to get another phone have your Upstage fixed as a backup. Once you take that ESN off your account you can't fix it.

I did when I swapped my 700wx for my 700p. But I suppose as with everything there are exceptions.

They probably did that because the 700wx is more expensive than the 700p. You pretty much ripped yourself off in that deal.
