How's the service in and around Gatlinburg, TN? Anyone?

Hello Bruce,

I live here in Gatlinburg and service is awesome AND SERVICE SUCKS!

Knoxville and Sevier county (Sevierville, Pigon Forge, Gatlinburg)
is East Tennessee's ONLY high speed market.

So - if you are OUTSIDE standing on the sidewalks it's great! >300 kbps or so... But don't leave downtown or go into any buildings or you will not even get a signal.

It's strange to me that they tout the high speed network - in an area that is suffering from a lack of towers / coverage.:irked:

Thank you. We are traveling with 5 other couples. The guys are making it a golf trip but the women I'm sure will be shopping! ;)
