ANyone having wierd texting problems lately? here in oklahoma I been sending friends texts out of state and thier either not getting them or thier getting them all really really late at nite when I send them around 5pm or they send me one in the morning like 'good morning" and I get it at 5pm.... and when ido get them thier coming up double triple or in one case 7 times

Hmm that sounds like a backlog in the system, basicly your phone is not communicating with the towers correctly and it taking longer then it should to get through. I would suggest wireless web, give them a call... it may have to be a tier 2 problem..
