I Spoke With Customer Service To Do An ESN Swap From A DLX I Just Purchased To The 8400 I Had Prior. The New DLX Was Not Getting Good Reception And I Wanted To Reactivate My 8400.And They Told Me How To Get Into The MDN Service Programming Menu And Told Me What To Enter. I Did It But Could Not Activate The Phone. Any Help Is Appreciated.

You were able to change the phone to the right info or not? If not, then you may not have committed the changes properly, or your phone may be waiting for the sprint computers to update the current ESN to allow the phone for use.
Do either of the phones currently work, or are both indicating the need to speak to a rep when attempting a call?

Sorry For The Delay. I Have Some Lag Due To My Basement Situation. I Input The Info Correctly Regarding My Phone Number And MSID And The 8400 Powered Off And On. It Was Done 4 Hours Ago And As Of Now My DLX Is Up And Running And My 8400 Is Not. I May Have Scared The DLX Into Working Better In The Basement Because As Of Now The DLX Is Working Better Than It Has In The Past In The Basement Although Still Struggling For Reception. Dan, One More Question Is The Rubber Plug Covering The Port In The Back Of The DLX. It Is Above The Battery On The Upper Right. Is This For Maybe An External Antenna Adapter? Thanks Dan, Richie.
