M1 and sprint tv app-- cant get full display

I recently downloaded the sprint tv app on my M1 and cannot enlarge the display like I used to. I also cannot get the player to play the video when I close the lid. it just says "application running" I used to get the video to play when I closed the flip on the outside smaller display. I tried to delete the app but it is locked- I even unsubscribed (it is a free app) but even when it expired it wont let access sprint tv without downloading this app. I searched the threads in all forums but page always comes up blank. I appreciate any suggestions
