what folder do i put my ringtones in to get them on the phone? do i have to manually create a folder? also what format do they have to be in?

You can't put ringers on your card and then move them to your phone. They must be uploaded to your phone.

so i've gotta wait till something like datapilot updates and gets compatibility with the DLX before I can add my old ringtones that i made onto my phone?

No you can use http://www.phoneuploader.stellernet.com/index.php to upload your files to your phone

now i just have to wait till i can get on the dealer plan cuz i'm not paying for internet usage right now and i don't want to pay 3 cents per KB that i use, cuz I have a lot i wanna put on this phone.

also, that site doesn't say that it supports my phone...

i use the program called bitpim to upload things onto my katana

unfortunately bitpim is not compatible with the katana dlx yet
