I recently purchased a IC902 and have been getting used to using it after having Nextel phones. I used MPT4 to assign MP3 ringtones to my contacts and they work great, My question is shouldn't the ringtone assigned to a person ring when they send a message? I get the same ringer not matter who sends a message. Thanks in advance for any help.

i have never heard of a phone that does that. usually when you set a ringer for a person it just plays that ringer when they call. one text message ringer is usually set for anyone who texts you.

Both my Motorola Razr and Krzr I had through Alltel rang for a text whatever ringtone was set for that person. I always had different text message ringtones. I really don't understand why my IC902 doesn't do it. If you have a ringtone set for a call it should ring the same one for a text, it's coming from the same number.

I just got an ic902, and notice that links embedded in messages do not appear to be "clickable". The cursor arrows don't let you select text in a message. Am I missing something?

Press the menu button, and you should see something like go to and it will go to the link.

That seems to work for a link in a text message, but not in an e-mail. Thanks.
Related question: Have you been able to get the Sprint Mobile Email client to load?
It runs right after download, but after that I'm unable to select it from the IM & Email menu - - the item is there, but selecting it does nothing.
The only way I can run it again is to start downloading it, then run after the "Version Check" warning.
"Hybrid Support" says they don't support the client now, and don't know when they will.

Never mind. I was able to find the client in My Content> Applications. It works find from there. Too bad Sprint couldn't tell me that.
