I had sprint for 6 months (had 7 phones in 6 months. I love switching phones. That's why I'm canceling. I need GSM. Plus T-mo's CS is WAY better) so my last switch was to a 8830. When I got it, they switched my over to the new billing system. When they did that, I don't know if its standard policy but they canceled my plan, and re activated it, starting a new contract, so I had a new "30 days trial". They're also sending me $550 when I send in my Blackberry :headbang2

Is this a loophole, or did I get lucky?

I called 3 times and they assured me there would be no ETF, and wrote it in my notes :deal:

Chalk it up to good karma. Good luck with GSM! :)

Yeah good luck with the switch. If T-Mo is better for you then great, but if you get charged a $200 ETF, dont expect those notes to still be in the system. Notes like that have a funny way of vanishing.

you are right about those notes disapearing. I had a note that stated to keep my original expiration date of 6/08 but somehow it got erased and now they expect me to stay until 6/09.

For sure about the notes, can you say FRAUD. That word should be in Sprint's "name". :bang:
