I'm trying to get the drivers on my laptop for sanyo phones. Having no luck, tried the website posted by clarkwheeler, page cannot be displayed. We have a Sanyo MM-8300, (recently replaced by LG Musiq) and a Sanyo SCP-2400. I would like to get the info off the 8300 to put on the new phone, having no luck with windows vista. Also, would appreciate any input about the Sanyo Katanna DLX as compared to the LG Musiq. (First LG phone, have had good luck with Sanyo in the past). May trade the LG, but I'd like to get the sanyo set up going.....Thanks

Just download the Connection Manager for Vista from Sprint, install the Sanyo drivers, and then uninstall Connection Manager. But if you're trying to tether without signing up for a PAM plan you can't do it. Only the Samsung's allow you to disable NAI on your phone. - sheureka

Thanks for the heads up on the connection manager.....I had tried that, but unsuccessful since I hadn't signed up. Anyway, I got the sanyo working with bitpim....(over 200 phone #'s, I sort of needed it:)). New problem getting the LG Muziq working with bitpim. I was out today and happened across a new cable with a driver disk for @ $10. Well worth it.

Sorry to bring up this dead horse, but I am also looking for the drivers for my SCP-2400 to use with BitPim on Windows XP. WinXP is looking for 2 "Data Intereface" drivers.

I have some old drivers but they seem to work. The download site from Sanyo appears to be shutdown.

First, thanks to S. Page on www.nabble.com

Short answer: download the Sprint Connection Manager (http://www4.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/support/downloads/index.jsp?internalId=downloads) from Sprint . This has the USB Modem driver you will need, plus a lot more that you don't.

It will take an extra reboot (at least it did on XP) and you might have to manually select the port in BitPim, but it works !

Long answer, read the excellent post by S. Page here (http://www.nabble.com/BitPim-doc-updates-and-the-heck-of-Windows-Sanyo-drivers-to16273296.html) Skip down to item 4.

I tried the Sanyo USB driver taken from the Sprint Connection Manager as advised above, and my computer STILL tells me I have a USB device that is not connected or not working correctly... Any ideas, anyone? I've tried the 'generic' drivers, and the COMPUTER sees the phone, but BitPim won't allow me to access it... I'm getting frustrated!:icon_smil
