View Full Version : Can I still get an M1 from Sprint?

I'm soldiering on with my 7400, but got it over 2 years ago, so I'm eligible for another phone.
I want to stay with Sanyo, and it looks like there's nothing that compares with the M1.
I heard the M1's replacement the 'Pro Series' is due out before long, but who knows how long?
Can I still 'special order' an M1 from Sprint?
What was the price, last time they were offered?
Thanks

$349.99 retail - $150 instant rebate - $100 mail rebate (no longer offered) = $99.99
Check if your local Sprint stores have any M1 in the store. If not, you can try telesales.
Best guess to the new Sanyo Pro series is fall/winter 2007 for the holiday season.

From other sources, it looks like Q1 2008 before the Pro series will be launched.

I just bought an M1 on Saturday...
Cost me $211 bones after it was all said and done.
I don't regret it - this phone is the upgrade I've been waiting for to my now-dated 8300.
So far, I haven't had a problem.

That's exactly what the Telesales rep told me when I called a week or two ago when I was checking to see if they were still available. I didn't buy it yet hoping to hear more about upcoming Sprint phones, but it doesn't look like there will be anything nearly comparable coming out anyway. The V9m is unproven (not to mention all the probs folks had with the V3m it makes me wary) and the cam doesn't have a freakin' flash which is a detractor. Hopefully more info about the upcoming Sanyo offerings will surface soon enough. I'm def curious about the S1...

Unfortunately not much info out there about 'em yet and no eta from what I can find (at least on here anyway). I may have overlooked it, but if anybody has info re: Pro Series models I'd much appreciate it....

I think that's the one with no EVDO, kind of a basic phone? It's like a bar Sanyo or something...
Just recieved my M1 yesterday, it's niiice.
Have you tried looking at the SU trading post? There's been some M1's on there.
