I have gone through all the service menus and sub menus to find diable nai. I could only find custom nai I loaded drivers and did the dun #777 but right after it connects It says not registered. I tried to delete everything in User Id, custom nai service menu but when I powered back up all the information was put back in. I had a Samsung a900m that tethered great. If this phone is not poosble to do that I might get a pink Samsung m510. Being able to PAM was really great. Seems is not possible with this phone. Thanks

I don't think you can disable it. Sanyo's last phone that could tether without a plan is the 9000.

How about the Samsung M510? I think I have a week left to change it I bought it from Sprint Sales Dept? Do they let you exchange it in a Sprint retail store?

Of course there is way, you will have to do some serious fishing to get it. Sprint more than likely knew we found away around their network detecting when we use PAM by disabling the NAI.

All phones have a disable/enable system for NAI. Just have to know how to get to it. Sprint of course made a better SW on their phone to stop us from disabling it. By Hack or by CMD prompt (##000000#) there is a way.

You can't do it or somebody would have posted how. Sprint hasn't done anything to prevent free tethering, its Sanyo. Samsung phones still have the option to disable nai on their phones.
