I finally made the switch from a nextel phone to a sprint phone (although I've had a laptop card for almost two years now). I find that when I am accessing anything vision or power vision that all of my phone calls get sent to voicemail...My phone doesn't even ring! Hopefully this isn't too much of a newbie question. I searched the forum for about 30 minutes and couldn't find a thread on this topic (vBulletin's search capability is fair at best).
But anyway...I called sprint and they said to enable multi-tasking. That setting is already enabled and enables multiple offline applications to run at the same time. For example I can play music off my memory card and then the phone will ring.
But if I am listening to the streaming radio, TV, or even surfing ebay, all my calls go to voicemail.
I have the new muziq phone. I want all of my phone calls to come through no matter what I happen to be doing on my phone. Is it possible that a phone can be a phone??

There is an option you can do, but you have to hack the phones registry... I believe its called DDTM...
Only reason I found out about this is cause I was looking at the new update for the Q, seeing the pros and cons... I believe if you do a search for that you should come up with some good info.

Yeah the info is on here just search...but in short...i believe this works on the muziq too...if u can obtain your phones msl code...u dont have to hack anything really...u just enter ur code to get into programming..and find an option that gives evdo priority voice or vice versa.... the result will be when u get incoming calls and are using power vision...the call interrupts you....
note this only works while in an evdo area...if ur in a standard vision area...itll still go to vm
Get your MSL from Sprint by asking them to help reprogram your phone. The six digit number they give you is it. Write it down and keep it. If it is like the FUSIC,I think this is what you do. Press ##DATA#, ADVANCED, EDIT, DDTM, turn it off. Them press end With the LG phones , i believe you have to do this every power cycle. It is easier than what it sounds. SOMEONE CORRECT IF I MISSED A STEP.

##DEBUG# gets me to the DDTM settings but once I turn the phone off and then back on, the DDTM setting defaults back to "on" instead of "off" like I want it.
