I just got off the phone with Sprint so I wanted to post my findings here. I bought a Sanyo 7050 a few months ago and I just activated it the other day. Everything is fine exc. I can't connect to the POP server for my home email account.

The guy at advanced tech support said they have been having problems with a few providers, including Bellsouth, Roadrunner, and Comcast to name a few. Basically, some phones are not able to connect to these services to get email from the POP server.

I need to figure out of by chance this is specific to this phone, or is it just a problem with my provider (Roadrunner). My older LG 5350 had no problem getting the email from the POP server, and I can also get it to work from Sprint's website w/out problems. This really sucks as this is the way I typically check my home email while at work.

Has anyone else with a 7050 had similar issues with POP email servers?
