Now to be honest ive only had it for about 2 days now so I cant give a honest review on some features. Since my last review ive had the Q, the upstage, 6700, and 700p so now im back to a regular dial pad but I made sure to hold on to my 700p because its the best pda phone ive used. But thats not the point lets get on to the muziq!

The exterior of the phone is gorgeous. Yes its plastic but it feel great and solid. The mp3 controls grow a nice red and the external screen is large and sharp. The camera is on the front of the flip and the status light and flash are somewhat hidden beside the camera which I thought was cool. My only complaint is that the hinge could wiggle while shut.

The inside of the phone also is very nice. There is a large vibrant display and the a nicely white backlit keypad. I love the keypad, best for a regular phone its large and you can feel the small ridge in between the keys. As for the screen its very large and its bright. Since the phone only has a 176x220 display and its large, the screen isnt very sharp. Its great but it just looks like the quality isnt as good.

I hated the MUZIQ theme it starts off with. Its this ugly brown and yellow menu and I find it hard to read. As for the standard LG interface im impressed. The menus are quick and snappy. It has all the basic features phones normally have like calendar, memo, alarm clock. One thing I really like about this phone are the small little cool things like both the regular and Ez tip Calc. look cool and have a little quick intro to them. When looking at pictures and videos, when you highlight a video it somewhat enlarges and shows a small preview which is kinda nifty. And overall its a nice looking interface, a nice black, white and blue to it.

When it comes to calling the Muziq is a little bit above average. The earpiece to me is loud which is great since, well at least MY fusic had a horrible earpiece ( I could never hear anyone very much). So far everyone can hear me fine.. but they say im a little quiet but not really that bad. One downfall is the reception. In areas where I would get 1-2 bars i now get 0-1 bars which sucks, but not as bad as the upstages reception.

As for battery I cant say much yet like I said in the beginning ive only had this phone for 2 days. But so far at 1:12am with about 20 mins of music, 40 of calling, 5 of data, 10 pictures, and well playing around with it alot im down to 2 bars when i unplugged it at 10:30 a.m yesterday. To me that battery life is fine I use the phone alot so well I expect to have to charge it everyday. It sure doesnt have the life of my 700p which was 2 days with heavy usage but a treo has a monster battery.

Sorry but I cant comment on bluetooth as well... I dont use it at all.

Last but not least Ill do multimedia. The phone has a 1.3 MP camera which well gets the job done. Its no M1 thats for sure. But honestly I cant complain. The fusics camera sucked and this one is much improved. The mp3 player is sadly... the sprint music store which is on EVERY Power vision phone. So there is nothing special on it and I really wish it had a standalone player like the fusic. Not only that but the upstage Sprint Store had skins and well they decided to leave that out which sucks. But hey it plays music. The only real problem with it, is that its not to attractive and navigating to find a song can be long and tedious. The outside touch pad is pretty cool because the little vibration it give with a key push works well. Also the speaker is nice. Its not REALLY loud but it works well and same goes for speakerphone. Its too bad the large outside screen only the song title and the green bar since well you can see alot of open space for maybe some album art or something. While it wont replace my ipod. It certainly could make a nice ipod shuffle replacement. One other note is you can minimize the music player but THATS IT. I would like to minimize opera mini when I get a text but it only give you an option to quit. Maybe a software update could fix it.

Pros.
-Nice design
-Phone is pretty loud
-Great UI
-Some nice improvements over the fusic

Cons
-Hinge has some play to it
-Screen isnt to sharp but not bad
-Reception only average
-Stupid Sprint Music Player only for music playback

Overall Im giving this bad boy an 8.5 out of 10. The pros are strong and the only cons arent really major but im thinking this one may be a keeper.... at least till something else comes out that catches my eye :D

A week and half later...

Well Ive decided to go back to my 700p but before I go i thought I would add a few things in. The battery life on this phone isn't bad but it certainly isn't great. I can get about a full day of use with heavy usage. about 1 hour of internet 1.5 hours of calling 75 txt messages and games and what not. The reception is pretty good also too but the signal bars aren't very accurate in my opinion. I went to my friends house which is a dead zone there is little or no signal and well the phone had no bars but i made a phone call and browsed the internet for about half an hour without any problems.

But thats all I really wanted to add. I love the muziq its stylish and is the pefect non smartphone to me. Its gonna be sad to let it go.
