M1 Rebate

Hello there.

I am new to the forum, however, I am admittedly a lurker. I've been reading on and off for the past few months and I haven't really seen much about any rebates available for the M1.

I've read in the recent threads about availability of the M1 diminishing so now I am ready to buy one before I have to E-bay it... The real question here is, though, I've read about people buying this phone for $99... However, when I went to buy it a week ago, I was told it was $200 + Sales Tax... Is there a $100 dollar rebate on this phone available anymore?

Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can retire my poor MM8300... It's done it's duty for 2 years and it is about time to move on...

Mine was 199.00 a few weeks ago when I upgraded to the M1. When I called to activate it, she gave me an additional 50.00 off. So it was 149.00 and a new 2 year contract.
I doubt you will see any rebates on this discontinued phone now.

Did they just say: "Hey, for activating this phone today, we'll give you a $50.00 credit? Or was it just circumstantial?

Well, since you're a new M1'er, how do you like it? I know I'll love this phone (I'll never deviate from Sanyo if I stay Sprint... I like them way too much)

I wonder if I'll be eligible for any type of "returning customer" rebate... I might end up haggling with the Sprint people at the store, see what I can get out of them.
