transferring data sanyo 3100

I have the cable the drivers and bitpim, it recognizes my phone i can get my contacts and calendar, but what i really even bought the cable for is to transfer ringtone files from my pc on to my phone, i am haveing a terrible time finding software that supports my phone to get this done. If anyone out there has this type of program or knows where i can get it, please respond.

do you have a vision plan? you can upload it here and then download it from your phone via a text message

no, I don't, so it cost 3 cents per kb to download them to my phone that way. that's why i want to download ringers to my computer then transfer them to my phone via data cable. but there doesn't seem to be any software out there that supports the 3100. I am thinking of just returning the cable because that is the only thing I wanted it for.

how long have you been with sprint? call them up and see if you can get any discounts on vision

i have been with them almost 2 years now, and i called them about it and they offered no discounts, not even the free 30 day trial.

To summarize this thread in connection with the original question: There is no know software that will send ringers and images from a PC to the 3100 over a cable and there never will be.
