I am a new customer of Sprint as of today with the LG Musiq with PowerVision ultimate and I called Sprint about the unlimited use of the navigation service and they told me I have to pay $9.99 a month for it when it says on the brochure it is included for the $25.00 a month price unlimited use. Also what TV channels and radio channels do I have access to so I am not secretly billed for something I didn't know was not included even though they guy at the Sprint store said I am covered for everything with this plan.
Thanks! :D

With the 25 buck ultimate plan...the sprint store is right...you are pretty much covered. The use of unlimited navigation refers to unlimited sprint navigation. You should receive a text message to download it...its basically a slightly stripped down version of telenav. Now if u want full unlimited telenav...then yes its 10 a month. I also know there is a direct link to download sprint nav...i believe if u launch wireless web and in search type nav...that link for sprint nav will come up..be careful not to go to telenav or u will be charged. Sprint nav will say use it free for a day...2.99 a day usage after or if u have a nav plan..free unlimited...and if u have that 25 a month plan ur covered and can use it unlimited.
As for the 2gb card....regarding contacts are u talking from ur old phone...did it have a card slot...if not u can take it to a sprint store and depending on the phone they can transfer ur contacts over to ur new phone...otherwise ull have to retype unless ur old one had a card slot...but i think u said ur a new sprint cust. so it prob. wouldnt be compat with another carriers phone. more info on what u mean with this could help.
Hope this info helps ya out...welcome to sprint!! :tu:

When a customer comes in with this problem, I always call tech support and have them send the Sprint Navi link to My customer's phone.

Thanks guys. On the 2GB card I just got done typing all my old contacts into my new phone which right now only has 64MB of memory but I think it is ok because when I removed that card last night it still registered the contacts so it must be saved on the phones internal memory.

Is the stripped down version of telenav worth it? What have they removed? Can you still find restaurants, gas stations and such? Does it talk?

I use Sprint Navigation all the time, it tells me where the cheapest gas station is, how to get to the mall, even took me to the nearest Dairy Queen this weekend. I don't know what is on the unstripped down version, but this one seems to cover everything I am looking for.

I don't really know because when I got my phone they told me that while WV does not have Power Vision the Power Vision services still will work like Sprint TV, Navigation, On Demand, Picture Mail, etc. I did hear that WV will be getting EVDO within the next couple of months as NTELOS has agreed to upgrade their towers to EVDO so hopefully soon Sprint TV may be a little more clearer and load faster!!

Ntelos is CDMA. You may have been thinking of WV Wireless which is transitioning over to CDMA as they were bought out by Verizon Wireless and I think they are offering EVDO on their network here in Huntington & Charleston. However, as seen here... nTelos Selects Alcatel-Lucent to Upgrade EV-DO, Rev. A Network for Wireless Broadband Services
