I would like an option to switch between the views in OM3 and OM4Beta.

I would also like tabs so I can have multiple pages.

You?

Tabs would be nice, and a way to view/download files without being kicked out and switched to the native web browser.

I think it would be cool tho not a necessity to have more themes or colors for the browswer then the same 3 or 4 theyve always had!!

You can switch the views in OM4 and have it display like it did with OM3.

The tabs feature would be nice and it's the #1 most requested feature in Opera's forums. However, I wonder if they would be able to do it as alot of phones really don't have alot of memory.

I just wish it had streaming media support cause I pay for Sirius in my car and can listen online for free.. I would love to be able to log on with my phone and listen. I have winamp remote where you supposr to be able to orb all your home music on any other computer or your cell but my media player opens up then it doesn't play I get an error message. Tab feature would be cool too.. Rose

OM 4 beta is pretty impressive. As far as I can tell, it only has two zoom levels. It would be nice to have a few more levels of zoom in between entire page and large font/readable.

OM didn't handle a page of fixed font (e.g. Courier) text very well.

Also when I select a PDF file, it doesn't really do the right thing. A better interface to helper apps would be nice (i.e. I have Adobe Reader LE, but I don't see a way of telling OM to call it to handle PDFs).

Even if it was just one tab.

Better stability... on my a900 opera locks the handset once every three sessions +- (obviously samsung could be the problem... but that's another thread).

Keep in mind that Opera mini needs to run on a really small memory footprint, as many phones really don't have alot of memory.

As far as opening up media files, some phones can do that with Opera Mini, but most can't, I recall hearing an Opera employee saying that alot of it is up to the phone manufactor on what features it can support.

For example, a cool feature is that you can use your phone's camera built into OM, and post the pic to a blog or something, but Sprint won't allow that to happend. :(

I'd like the landscape view to work on the a900/a900m. I've had one of each now, and it doesn't work. It's not in the options menu, and the " * # " shortcut does nothing... even though the introduction clearly says the feature is there.

What is especially frustrating is that it worked for a short while, back in what i think was the 2nd or 3rd beta of OM4. Then it went away for the final beta or two and was still gone from the release version. Idk what other phones this affects, but mine is one of them and it makes me very, very sad... When I used landscape the first time in the beta it was my favorite new feature... I'm told there are security upgrades, etc... but the best thing was the landscape... damn you Opera for teasing me this way... :bawl:

Press 1 and change to Mobile View to make OM4 look like OM3.

Same here... it worked in the beta and then not in the final... although I didn't think the screen quality (on the a900) was that great from that view angle anyway... so I didn't really look to hard to see if the option was really there or not...

I'd like a stable version to run on Palm OS.
