I haven't seen much of a discussion about it, I wanted to get an opinon from some of you guys. I was thinking of getting the Katana II, is there anyone here who has got it? Do you mind telling me what you think of it?

Splurge and get the DLX version. I like it much better. I had the Katana II first. It was a snoozer. Although, if you're just looking for a good phone without music ability n such, I would highly recommend it.

My wife just uses her Katana II to make phone calls - and she loves it.

I like my katana II but i dont like the fact that you cant change the navigation keys. At least not that i found. There are also only 9 speed dials, and for someone who memorizes and uses stuff like that it was kind of a bummer. But everything else seems to be fine to me.

Got several Katana II's. Very nice for a $30 phone. Very solid and great 320x240 screen (Opera Mini 4 is fab on it...)
Coworker is paying $50 more to get a Muziq, which is the same size as the Katana II but has all the music features and is EVDO. So for $50 more, the Muziq seems like a winner. But for my purposes, the Katana II is just right...

thanks again for the responses, but read the motorola Q forum and bought that instead. Who knows, I'd probably buy both the DLX and Katana II
