Hi, I currently have 2 sanyo scp-3100s under two $30 sero plans. I'm about a year and a half into my contract.
One of my phones broke about a week ago, and I don't have insurance on it. I would like to upgrade both of my phones to ones that support powervision, since my plan includes it free. i looked on wirefly.com and they have both the LG Fusic and the motoKrzr free if i upgrade my phones. But, they don't have my sero plan to go with them. Do you guys think Sprint would match wirefly's offer? or would wirefly let me sign a new 2 yr contract on the sero plan if i called them?
thanks,
sheng

I also have another question, since my plan includes unlimited roaming, unlimited web, and unlimited text, do i pay for data/texts when I'm roaming?
thanks

Since you are only a couple of months away from the end of your contract then you should be eligible for your $75 upgrade and should be getting close to the 22 month $150 upgrade. You could call or email eCare and ask if they could move up the $150 upgrade and then you could apply that to a new phone. You could also ask for new customer pricing instead of the $150 upgrade. And I am pretty sure that if you try and sign up through Wirefly they will not let you continue on the SERO plan.
And I am pretty sure that you do not have to pay for data and text while you are roaming. But sometimes data isn't available while you are roaming anyway.

Ok, so i called in like 10 times today, and they all say that they can't match the Wirefly deals. I'm 5-6 months away from the $150 rebate, think they would give it to me this early? But thanks, I will definitely ask for the new customer pricing.

I would try and email eCare and ask them if they can bump up the rebate. They normally do especially since you are only like 5 months away.

The standard rebates dont offically start till your base plan is $34.99 or above. Your SERO plan is $30 a month and therefoe doesn't qualify technically.
Being 5-6 months away from your $150 rebate is not a good position to be in for you to get the full $150 if you were on a qualifying plan. Your best hope is eCare or account services. Your chances of getting it are hit and miss at best to be honest though.
Good luck.

Well I called customer service and they said I'm wayyy to far away to get the rebate, so I ordered a mm8300 off ebay.
Do you think I would have a better chance at it if i email? I've never tried it before.
Also, whats the best email address to email to?
Thanks a lot

theres a little search feature at the top of the forum that would answer most questions like that for future reference..
but if you sign onto your sprint account and click contact us, that would allow you to email them..or email directly at ecare@cc.sprintpcs.com
i say give emailing them a shot, there is nothing wrong with asking..
