BTW... I have searched for 2 hours, and have not found this answer, so please don't
respond and say "Use the search button." Thanks.

I have the IC902.
I got Darwin Streaming Server running on Windows 2000 Server.

I need help with making the files now...

I have made a few that actually start loading in Media Player on the phone, but
I think something is wrong because it will stop at 99%.

Other files don't work at all.

Can someone tell me what the full format for a 3gp has to be in order to work
on the phone...

Thanks.

I will be happy to post a link to my page so you can try if you would like...
Thanks.

i'm not my home pc right now so i can't look up the settings i use myself; so i'm just going by memory here. But i use QuickTime Pro to encode my videos. Use the Export function and 3GP as the file type. Video options should be MP4, whatever bit rate you want (i use 195 but thats probably too high if you don't have PV) and size is QCEP (176 x something). QVGA works for some phone such as the M1, but most other handsets can't handle that resolution, so go with the 176 x whatever. Audio should be AAC and whatever rate you want. Then on the streaming section you MUST check off both the optional boxes (one is for hinting i believe and the other is to optimize it for a server) and i take the default block sizes and such. hope that helps a little. i can look up the exact specifics later if you still need help.

I have gotten the Quicktime Pro 7, and done the steps...

Can you try my site, and see, or convert a small video for me that you know works, and send it to me so I can put it on my server to make sure it isn't a server issue.

Thanks again.

The zoovision ones are actually links... Did mine start loading, or anything...?
lets continue the discussion in this thread here.
Some of yours would say loading for a while but never started playing. others would give error messages right away without attempting to load.

I put those on my server... Try to see if you can load them...
They are the last 2 in the list.

If they don't work, then i may have a server related issue.

Weird part is i think that most of them load through a regular pc...

nope, they don't work on your server. might be configuration problem or maybe a problem with the links

I can stream to a regular pc off the links.

On my phone it gets to 99%, and stops, so it is getting out, just not fully.

I run full websites on the same server, so I know everything else works...

For 3gp conversions...I have another solution partly...

I can convert any DVD Movie or DVD TV show..pretty much anything on the hard drive to 3gp or 3g2 both sprint useable using DVD Fab Platinum...gives you lots of options for settings of the vids for phones and even ipod if u need it.

Otherwise AVS Media converter converts just about any time of video to any other type.

But after FAB...I have 3gp files...then like donblay I convert using Quicktime PRO...play with the settings a tad...tho DONS were pretty good from memory..also play with the default blocks in streaming if u have a problem....I had minor glitching problems and adjusting those settings cleared them right up.... I know I can stream every episode of the OC ever made from my site straight to my phone haha.... DONT COMMENT lol
