If she were to call you, you shouldn't be charged anything extra. As for txt msg's, you'd be charged for sending international txt msg's, as for receiving them they should just be standard cost for you.

I go to Paris twice a year. You wont get charged for anything incoming. Only outgoing calls/txts

international texts are $0.15/ea we send to Philippines regularly, incoming doesn't matter, let your friend know she can go to sprint.com and send you a text from there.

So if friends go to sprint.com to send you a text, it will be free for them too?
And since it is incoming for you, it will be part of your unlimited text and will be at no cost?

Well, I don't know if this makes a difference but she took her normal cell phone that she uses here in the united states.....She texted me last night, so if i text her would it be considered sending an international text even though she has her regular cell phone?

i dont think sprints network is gonna see a difference if you send a text to a local # and what her international roaming agreement is gonna dictate what she gets charged.... my guess is its gonna be pricey for her.

wait, i thought incoming international SMS costs you as well. I thought it was $0.15 per SMS either incoming or outgoing. I first thought it was only for outgoing but other people said it didnt matter and you will be charged for incoming as well. I did see 1 International SMS tally on my account at sprint.com and I never sent any INT'l SMS...

thats what I was thinking. Any way to block International SMS txt from being received? I rather they just text my other "travel phone" which gets free incoming txt msgs lol
