Hello all,
i've been a customer of sprint for the past 10 years, i guess i've been satisfied as a long time subscriber to their services. i have just come across this site today and wish i would have done a search for this site earlier. what a great find!

i'm currently looking into a new phone and will be doing some serious research here. if anyone has a slightly used moto q for sale, please pm me with what you have included and for what cost.

i have been on the sero plan since i rec'd my katana when it was introduced, so, as it is i do not qualify for the new to you phone upgrades.

thank you in advance.

roger

i do have one issue with my joining this community. i have recently come across a moto q for sale in the trading post. because of the 3 month or 150 post rule i cannot complete the transaction knowing that i have no one on this site to help if something with the transaction were to go wrong. i understand the rule, but, it hinders someone really wanting to make a purchase from someone knowing full well that there may be no recourse on said purchase if done through pm'ing. i have discussed this with the person wishing to sell the moto q and i still feel the need to go through the persons first post with a reply to complete the transaction to ensure both his and my protection from any hitches. he wants to sell it as much as i want to buy it, but, i feel i should not go through with the purchase without using su's forum.

comments please!

Well what you could do it see if the member is willing to do a google checkout or an private ebay option on the price you agreed and go from there. But there has to be some limitation because there are a lot of scammers out there we have to make sure that our memebers are protected the best way possible and I feel your pain but rules are rules and as the rules about sales and trading say there are no execeptions.

Hello all. The Motorola Q sale in question is mine. To be honest, the option of a google checkout transaction didn't cross my mind. That is definitely a venue we could take if necessary.

I agree with 188 about the trade post rules, but I can also understand the care/concern expressed by the administrators who put those rules in place. Ideally, I believe they are only looking to protect the interests of its users -- Especially in a time, where assholidity (yes, that's my word, webster can't have it yet!) has reached an all time high on the internet.

Hello Matt,

Thank you for checking in and showing your concern for the trading post rules. Obviously the rules are in place so we can all feel comfortable that we are not being taken advantage of and losing money which we all work so hard to obtain. I agree we should all be careful so, I think the google check out is a fantastic idea as well. I will be contacting you regarding this transaction after supper. Hope we can get this to happen tomorrow so I can have a new to me moto q to play with on thursday this week.

regards,

roger
