Ok, so a while ago I bought a Treo 700p of eBay. And I got it activated on my account, blah blah blah. ANYWAYS, I never check my account online, but I decided to pay my bill online. So I was looking at all my details, and it says I have an A900? So at first, I thought maybe it takes like a few weeks for them to change my details on there. So later on, I called CS, and I had some questions for them about how my Treo 700p was acting up. For some reason she wanted the ESN, so I gave it to here. And she told me that the ESN on the Treo was registered as an A900?

So If I took my Treo 700p into the Sprint store, with box and all. Could I get it swaped out for a new one or what?

why would you get it swapped out for a new one? make sure you goto a sprint corp store and discuss whats going on to them

Well one, it's been acting really funky. And two, because the ESN for that phone is registered as an A900. I think those are pretty good reasons to get it swapped out, right?

Wirelessly posted (m610 BLADE KILLER: Samsung-SPHM610 AU-MIC-M610/2.0 MMP/2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Sounds like maybe someone cloned it.

Maybe you should contact the EBay seller to get your money back. ESN not clean?

Thats the weird thing, the phone is fully functional. Got all my SERO perks 'n such. Internet works fine. Can receive and place calls. Everything.

I'm just wondering if I take it into the Sprint store, and try to replace it (Because it's freezing all the time) will they give me a hard time because the system says I have an A900.

The same thing just happened to me. I signed into my account that is on the SERO plan, and it says I have the A900. It really is a treo 755.

did you call to activate and program the phone?

If the phones label information matches the info displayed on the phone (ESN and serial #'s) then the phone is not cloned. Cloned phones will have different ESN's on the phones label and original box verses the info in the phone.

Take the phone and your box with the ESN number to a store and see what they can do. I dunno if they'll exchange it out since you got it on ebay but at least they can clear up the A900 thing...

I heard of that problem with sevral Treos (forgot which model) that online it said they had a different model. Even for people that bought it from a sprint store. I'd still go in a sprint store and see what's what though
