I order a sero line this past monday the 23rd.

its thursday now and the order hasnt even begun to ship yet.

Prolly wont get it until next week.

This is kind of ridiculous.

Anyone have any similar experiences?

I ordered an extended battery for my Sanyo DLX on the 17th. Still no battery. After 3 calls to web sales support, with wait times totaling TWO HOURS, no battery and no one can tell me if it shipped or not. The charge IS on my credit card (Sprint would never be slow on that part of the transaction) and I was told today that the phone might or might not be coming. Sprint has supposedly been having problems with their "warehouse" Whatever that means......

I was told to see if the battery showed up this week...if not, call back on Monday and check again. I explained that the wait was over 35 minutes each time I have ALREADY called to check on this and the rep just kept repeating to call back.

It really is absurd.

Same here.... I placed a sero order on the sero website Monday (7/21) and I checked the order status today and at this point it says "The order is awaiting fulfillment". This is my first time placing a sero order via the website. The first two times I ordered through the phone and the phone was shipped the next day and received the phone the day after that. Hopefully they ship it by this Friday so I can receive it on Saturday because isnt it sent through express and express delivers on saturday, right?

MY Sero order was placed on Sunday, I didn't get the phone till the NEXT monday!

Guess SPCS is just proving it's stupid when it comes to this as well!

That is why I cancelled my order. I ordered a SERO plan on the Nextel side and a PowerSource phone. I went through hell. I wasn't sure if things even went right. Every time I called in, it was at least an hour hold time and my order hadn't even been shipped when I decided to cancel which was a few days later. It was insane and that is why I cancelled my order.

I ordered a Treo 700wx with a new SERO plan on 7/13 and I am still waiting on this order! Online status shows "wainting for fulfillment". Every day I call, I am told they are waiting on a tracking number, but the number should be issued by midnight. This is very frustrating. I thought about cancelling and buying locally, but local Sprint stores tell me they will not allow me to purchase the phone from them since it is a SERO purchase. Does anyone have any Sprint contacts that can get things done! I would very much appreciate any advice you can give.

This is exactly what is happening to me, too.
I ordered a SERO plan wed. the 18th.
My order is still awaiting fufillment. :(
I get transferred all over the place when I call.
I can't understand the all the indians, but they are very very nice people :)

Ordered on the 30th, new activation on the sero plan... Order Still In Process, CC not charged and getting a hold of someone at Sprint that has a clear answer is like trying to find a Ho with a good set of teeth.

Do telesales orders go through the same process that web sales go through? In other words, which is the faster way to get your phone: telesales or web sales?

Ordered the night of the 30th, page updated with tracking number today (the 3rd). Although, the tracking number doesn't register on ups.com yet.

Do the phones get delivered on Saturday? Or only M-F? If M-F, then it will have taken a week total.

I was told at some point that the phones are shipped M-F only. However when i placed my order the shipping method stated free overnight.

Hm I acually placed my online order early this past Thursday morning, the 2nd. But my credit card was definately charged right away. So they have my money, but the web site hasn't updated in the least. Does anyone know if the credit card being charged has any corrilaton with the actual shipping? Like if its charged they ship it the next day, or they charge the card right away no matter what?

I don't see an edit button for my previous post. But today is Saturday the 4th and now my order says awaiting fulfillment. Does that put me at a good chance of getting my phone this coming week?

I am having such a hard time understanding their web sales process. Granted I haven't been waiting like some of the other folks around here have. How some go a week or more with no phone being delivered is beyond me. I ordered a microSD card from Newegg the night before I ordered my phone. I'm planning ahead and my old 512mb card thats currently in my M500 isn't going to be enough. Anyway, the SD card shipped yesterday and I have a tracking number and email from Newegg with all the info. Now is Sprint so bogged down with things that their web sales department just doesn't have enough man (or woman) power to get things done efficiently? Or at least keep their customers informed of why things have or have not shipped. Eh, my 2 cents on the whole web sales thing.

In any other industry this type of web sales would be unacceptable. I don't know if its that cell phones take more time to ship or if its Sprint. But somehow they get away with it. If other companies took this long to fulfill orders and communicated this poorly, they would lose a lot business. Hopefully this is just a phase and Sprint will start shipping web orders more efficiently.

6 days is a long time. But if you want a SERO plan its still apparently the way to go. The guy in the sprint store here gave me a "*** are you talking about?" look when I asked him about the SERO plans. Yes these guys work for commision so no they aren't going to help anyone sign up for the cheapy plan, whether they can or not. Afterall it is the Sprint Employee Refferal Offer. They have to know about the plans if they are going to reffer people.

I ordered a mogul on the SERO over the phone. It arrived the next day. I'm guessing phoning in is the way to go.

Thats kinda weired, I ordered mines through the sero website on friday july 27th around 2pm and recieved it on tuesday july 31st, if you minus the weekend thats only 2 business days it took to be prosessed, shipped and ativated.

I must say reading these responses I wasnt looking forward to it. But I ordered my muziq on monday. The next day I went out. I came home and there was a notice on my door saying I missed my shipment from sprint. I couldnt believe it was here next day. They redelivered on wednesday. And I love it.

I checked the website today to see if my order had updated. The site was down earlier and when I just checked, my order went from awaiting fulfillment, back to order is being processed?!?

I ordered through the Sero site on August 1st (Wednesday), today (August 7th/Tuesday) was the 4th business day. My card hadn't been charged yet, and the site still said my order was merely in progress. Called the number on my email receipt, and after 35 min on hold the rep checked it out and said the phone I ordered (Treo 755p) was out of stock but that they would be filling orders and shippings phones out once the new shipment came in. I asked her if she could give a rough time estimate of when that would be, she said, a week. *sigh* Been 5 days since my old line was closed. :crying: This sucks...

I showed my boyfriend the Mogul and told him about SERO and it convinced him to come over to Sprint. I put in the order for a new line/phone on the website on Saturday August 4th and knew that the order wouldn't process until monday but boy was I wrong. The weird thing is, I chose to port his number over and when I checked the status, it said "In progress. We are working with your current service provider...etc." The status of my order said, "Your order has been shipped and is waiting activation." I knew that was too good to be true because I never received any emails about shipping. Wednesday (August 8th) comes and now my order status says "Your order is being processed" and my port status says "It appears that this request has not been submitted." What the hell is going on? I've spoken to different reps, emailed ecare, chatted with a rep and they didn't help me at all. I was told that the phone just left the warehouse the night before to be activated[?] Sprint threw me off with the "free overnight shipping" because it's taking them too long to process orders. Maybe that's why web sales were taken down from the SERO website before? The only thing different is that my credit card wasn't charged for the order until last night. Maybe Sprint just totally forgot that I even placed an order.

I cancelled my original order throught the website after waiting 7 days and cc not being charged. Then i ordered through the 800 number and got the phone in 2 days.

Update: I'd ordered August 1st (Wednesday), still hadn't recieved it by the end of the fourth business day (Tuesday, August 7th). Called order support and the rep claimed they were out of stock, and gave an estimate of 1 week for more to come in and the order to be shipped. However, check the status the next morning and it said the order had been shipped and activated, giving a tracking number. The tracking number showed the phone had been shipped out around midnight and was already out for delivery, recieved it early afternoon..So I don't know if the rep was merely clueless, a liar, or I'm just missing something.
