Okay, so, I went to the Sprint.Com website, logged in, went to the Digital Lounge, found my Transformers screen saver. Now here's the part I had a hard time with. When you click on the name and it pulls up the screen with the input box for your vision password, in the bottom right of that area is a place where it reads something to the effect of "Purchase with Promo Code" Apparantly it's a case sensative thing. Or I just didn't type it right the first time. But I got both to work.
So I've got myself the Autobats insignia for a screen saver, and "Autobats, Fire" for a ringer. SWEEEEET!

Thank you Pixie. I think I know why I cannot find the white banner that people are talking about. When I log on and go onto digital lounge, there is a banner there that tells me that I do not have data plan and to go check out the benefits/vision packages. ( I do have data plan)

Hey guys, did you look at your Content Manager after you applied the Promo code.
Example, it is still saying $2.50 for the ringer that I downloaded and $3 for the theme.
Although when I applied the code, it says that the code was successfully applied.

It should show up on your bill as charge for x----item, then further down it should show a credit. That's how they normally appear on my bill.

Yes that was how it showed up on my bill when I had the "Download credits" before they put on a new Power Vision plan. Boo.
Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed that it will have the credits on the bill because I have used the Promo codes (btw, I finally figured out how to get the codes, it appears as you click on the different category but no games code,lol)on all of my 3 lines. That a pretty sum if not free. lol
Btw, Pixie, I made 1 mistake like you did. I clicked on BUY NOW. Wow no double checking yes or no. Immediately charged/bought and the item purchased. I cancelled/return and applied for credit. The code that is listed in the original post? Some lucky folks show this code on the opening screen of their Digital Lounge -> Ringers screen: U4R3X2F4 and it reads something to the effect of "Try a ringer on us". Same thing for the Screen saver screen: U9X9P7V2, and for me, the Theme code showed up today: U5T4F9P5.
If it's on yours, great! If not, that's fine, as the ones posted here have worked for EVERYONE who has tried them.

Awesome, gonna have to use both of them. So has any one found out if this is per plan or per phone number? If it's per number, you could theoretically get the text sent to another phone on the plan and forward it to your phone to download.

Yup you can get 2 ringers with the 2 different codes.
Got 1 regular ringer and had to try one Video Ringer.
Only bad thing is Video Ringer has no preview.

Let's say you lose your phone, and you get a different phone. You can always re-download your content for 90 days after the purchase date. That's what the expiration date is for.

One code showed up next to my phone when I simply logged in to sprint.com to view my account. It was on a banner to the left with a promo code to get a free ringtone. Then, when I clicked on the banner, it opened the digital lounge and gave me another free ringtone promo code! When I clicked on Themes and Screensavers, respectively, more free promo codes showed up. I guess Sprint is really trying to let us sample the products and downloads!

There should be but, as usual with Sprint, there was no credit. I had the same issue & I called Sprint and "big surprise" the rep knew nothing about this. I said the code for the free ringtone still appears on "MY SPRINT" page. He looked at my page and said "WOW, there it is".
I'm still amazed sometimes that I seem to know more about what Sprint is offering than the reps I speak with, but then again it is Sprint!

I am so glad that it is not just me. I haven't gotten my bill yet, but I know that when I checked my online bill it was $20 higher than usual. I used the promo codes on both of my phones.

Nobody is going to wait for a couple of billing cycles before calling CSR especially it is over $30 for the Sprint digital lounge downloads. I have 3 lines and each one is $12.91. All purchased with "Buy it with codes".
On top of this I also have to request for credit on a download that I cancelled within 2 seconds. I clicked on the wrong button and had to cancel the purchase. Now that one was included in the previous bill. It is not even showing up on My Content Manager right after that so why is Sprint charging me for something I cancelled. Not like I tried it and then decided to cancel.
So I am still waiting on when is the best time to call for all these credits. lol Going to take me at least 4 phone calls to settle this. Blah.

I have had to call several times to get mine fixed in the past. However when I canceled it after it was not what I had expected. It took till the next billing cycle unless I got a generous rep who went ahead and credited my account.

Ok, here is what I just noticed. After using the codes on two ringers one wallpaper and one theme I noticed that they took those amounts and credited it to the amount that I owe this month. When I log into my account it shows that amount as an adjustment towards my current bill. Now I don't know if it will be charged on my bill next month or not but that is what it shows right now.

I just was on the phone with a couple of CSR and finally I got tired and got retention.
CSR was dumb. Keep saying that if I click ok on my phone I bought it. Blah.
Retention lady poked around and finally found the fine prints. It says that it will appear as a credit after 2 billing cycles. I don't remember seeing that when I first bought mine with promo codes but it is there right now if you go look on those promo codes under each category.
So I guess there is nothing I can do until they get credited after 2 billing cycles? Wow. Thats a whole lot of money for 3 lines. Almost 40 bucks including taxes.
Btw, I don't remember there being fine prints(credit in 2 billing cycles) when most of us applied the codes earlier. In fact many of us don't even know how to buy with promo code button. Now there is instructions step by step.
So.... anybody can confirm this? So I can go back to Sprint and say give me my credits now.

I am pissed cause I usually don't open my bill I just payit online when it's due. I found it laying around opened it up which I would of noticed on line but it was like 30 something dollars more then usual. I was like what this is weird and I look at it and it says Premium Services (Non Telecom) purhases 29.95. I got like 2 ringers one wallpaper and 2 themes I think I don't remember but that is BS to charge us then credit us. But it says Messages 5 used 29.95. I am complaining tomorrow but then I don't get this but I have a charge that says long distance call 2 minutes used @39 cents I owe 78 cents. That is weird I get free LD. Rose

Well I got charged too. On the phone right now with a CS who said that it was not Sprint who offered this! HUH???? It is on the Sprint site, it is from Sprint! She tried telling me several times that it was one of those third party things that offer it to you but it really isn't. I told her I thought that was rediculous when it is on the Sprint site and that it was even on there now. She finally decided to give me a credit. So now who knows what will happen if it was supposed to be after 2 billing cycles.

Anyway, I assume there is nothing I can do about it...I will get the charge on my bill and a credit a couple of months later. I didn't see that I could get an immediate refund for incompatibility...the code is now used forever.
Am I right? Does anyone know of something I can do that I'm missing?

i know that the sprint ringers usually suck, but hey, who doesn't like free? there are three working codes for sprint's digital lounge in which you can get free ringers.the first one is "winter", the second one is "free08", and the third one is "mysprint". Enjoy!

You can log onto MySprint using the account for the individual phone.

Although I did get the ringers using the promo codes provided in this forum. The charges later showed up on my bill as many posters advised they would. Man O Man was it a pain in the rear to get the Sprint Customer Service Rep to understand what I was talking about when I called in questioning the charges. Also beware that if you dont have some type of extended vision pack they charge you 3 cents a kilo to down load the ringers. My total ringer and screen saver downloads came to $22.50 but the download charge came to $59.13 Boy was I in shock when I got my last bill. They reluctantly credited the download charge after I explained had I know that the free ringers weren't free and had I known this I would have never downloaded them. They have yet to credit me for the ringers and screen savers totaling $22.50 for my two lines. She said I would need to go to sprint.com and request the credit. Which I told her it never mentioned when I downloaded them using the promo codes that I would be required to request a credit online. Shouldnt sprint know to credit if you are using promo codes? She changed her story and said that yeah I might see the credits on my bill in the next few billing cycles. So I'll be short paying my cell bill until the credits are applied. I'm questioning if the "free" downloads are worth all the hassel... I ensured to voice my feelings in a firm but friendly manner to them.

Themes are only available for certain phone models. If your phone supports themes, you will be able to purchase them from the Downloads section of the Vision website.
Easiest way to know if your phone supports themes is to go to My Content on your phone. If there is a Themes section, your phone supports 'em.

Also, is there a limit of how many promo codes one can use in one day. cuz i used like 4-5 of them yesterday. Just curious. DOnt wanna pay anything for it thats why.

You should get an alert within 2-3 of adjustments they've made to your account. The adjustments you should be seeing is a $12.50

No I just added up 2.50 X 5 and I got 12.50.. No I don't work for Sprint I some times use the promo codes on my lines. Glad everything turn out ok :)

if ur cheap like me u use promo codes.. i recently got mogul so the promos dont work for me anymore but hopefully they can work for you~! all you do is go to sprint digital lounge, find a ringer you want, click on it, click "buy with promo code" and enter one of these.. i dont know if they expire? but its worth a shot right?:deal:

Once you use them you can't use them any more.. I believe I've used them all. But if your not careful your next month bill will be jacked up because Sprint will only give you credit for like 1 or 3 ringtones depending on how many you have.
