I have a "Samsung Upstage" as far as I know there is no way to block your number wile sending a text from your phone, so my question is... are there any programs I can download on my phone that will let me text and not show my number or maybe display a user name or something???

There are some txting web site that let you do that. Do a google for them and then if you have web access on your phone try it from there. Do a test from the web to your phone.
I do not have that phone. I have the m610. Under MESSAGING. . . SETTINGS. . . TEXT. . . CALLBACK NUMBER...I have an option for none. Do you have that menu?

I tried finding a way to show up as an "Unknown" for the text reciever. and, no luck. Once in a while i will get one of those text message updates from sprint and it will read "From:UNKNOWN". So then there's gotta be a way..
