I think I know why....maybe because of the bb data plan you got to pick up with this phone. don't get me wrong this is an excellent deal and I would jump on it immediately but the data plan is what stops me from getting a bb. BUMP ... :)

BB's use a ton of data. for 39.99/month you'll get
-- your own name@sprint.blackberry.net email address
-- access to BES/BIS servers (check with your company, BIS is through Sprint and included in cost)
-- sync with gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.
-- unlimited Phone As Modem
-- unlimited data
