so i just got my 755p, i did a hotsync and i guess it transferred all my info from my 650 to the 755p even info that i thought i had deleted. How can i reset the 755p back to its original factory settings? and how can i delete info so that when the hotsync occurs its only transferring info that i want?

Take out the battery and put it back in. Then hold down the power button for about 5 seconds. It will then prompt you if you want to hard reset your palm.


If you do not want your old info to move over do this

Go to c:\program files\palmone

create a new folder called old then place the folder with your username in it. That way it will not sync to your new device yet you still have it incase you want to.
