I decided that it was time to get a new phone. After hearing about the sero plans I decided to go with one of those. Here is the problem I had or still have depending on the reply I get. I wanted to keep the number I have had since singing up with sprint 4 years ago but when I select the upgrade link for the sero plane the price of the phone I want gose up $111. So I went back to the main page and selected port number and checked to see if I could port my number. It came back and said I could so I continued my order. When I went to check the status of my order it took me to a nextel site and shows the account I ordered as a nextel account. My question is the phone I ordered was the 6800 which is a sprint phone so is sprint using nextel to process the sero orders? And if the account is a nextel account since sprint owns nextel the service area should be the same right?

Thanks for you time to answer my questions.

You can only get Sero with a new account (new number).

So did they get by that by switching me from sprint pcs to the nextel side of the house?

Did it still allow you to get the Sero rate? If so, then I dunno what's going on.

Yes it allowed me to get the sero rate of $288.99 insted of the upgrade rate of $399.99. Funny how sprint shows more respect to new customers then they do to their customers that have been with them for 2 years or more. Also I went and checked the status of my order and it was in progress what ever that means

Well now the only question I have is Is nextel phone service the same as sprints far as reception and service area.
