So i call sprint to place an order for my Mogul this morning. My account with sprint DOES NOT EXIST. Its gone, no one can find it, my number is not associated with any account. In fact my number is registered to a name (no address) that is simply a string of numbers and characters. I cannot access the account, I cannot change the name on the account, apparently there is nothing that i can do to regain access to my sprint account. This coming from an account services supervisor. I talked to customer service last night at 1am with no problems, how on EARTH could this have happened? Account Services had no explanation for me, and suggested that i go to a sprint store and talk to them. They also assured me that i would still be receiving a bill in the mail each month, even though they DO NOT have an address associated with the account. Unbelievable!

Are you suggesting that my account is being switched over to Ensemble right now and thats why it cant be accessed? Is this temporary?

Called them back, this has nothing to do with the switch to Ensemble, there is no reason that my account name and password should have been changed to a string of random numbers. No one in Sprint is even authorized to change the account name to a bunch of numbers. Could my account have been hacked somehow?

Could be. Sorry, mostly it was just an ironic comment...

Can you dial out on your phones? Or receive calls? If that works, then the account is still valid.

That happened to me, except with all three lines on a cell phone. Just relax, it'll be all normal :)

I finally just went through retentions and said i wanted to cancel, she told me that i could not cancel because i didnt know the name on the account. I gave her all the relavent info, SS#, Address, Old Password, she was able to manually restore it. Later when i got ahold of the same account services rep as before the incident she told me that the retentions lady should never have done that for me, but now that it was fixed i went ahead with the order of the 6800.... which i have been triple billed for, for 3 different amounts, $436, $474 and $522. No one can tell me why the 3 different amounts (my bank noticed the activity and blocked the $474 and $522 orders), or if the order will even ship because the amount that my bank let through is not the correct amount that i owe to Sprint. What a Nightmare.

I would go straight back t retentions RE: the billing issue. There's no reason you should have so many issues with your account. Let them know that you're upset with what you went through with your account, and now again with the ordering of your 6800. Be firm, but polite. Trust me, they'll get you all fixed up.
