I just upgraded to the Sanyo SCP-7050 last week. The model doesn't currently work with BitPim, but the USB cable that I had for my Sanyo 8200 will charge the 7050 and my PC (XP Pro, SP2) sees some sort of USB device when it's connected. I can't find any sort of drivers out there for it either.

I've been able to pair the phone to my PC via Bluetooth, with passcode and all. I can send a contact from the phone to my PC without issue, but when I try to send that same contact back to the phone, the PC gives an error that the device (phone) can't be found or is not connected.

I've tried calling Sprint Technical Support, but they can only assist with pairing the phone to a Bluetooth headset. I tried calling Sanyo, but they direct me back to Sprint.

Does anyone have any real information on:
1 - What the full Bluetooth capabilities are for this phone
2 - Connecting the phone to my PC via USB
3 - Any other options that I'm not aware of

Thanks!

Damn Windows Firewall again. I had to turn on all the ICMP requests for the Bluetooth connections. Even now, the detection of the phone by the PC and vice-versa is spotty at best.

The only things that came up for features were transferring contacts, using the phone as a modem, and something about linking the phone's audio to the PC. I'm not sure since I can't get the phone and PC paired again. UGH!

I realize the 7050 is a non Power Vision phone, but does anybody know if you can add PAM (Phone as modem) plan to it?
