can someone help me out and lemme know how i can change to a custom ring tone for my text messages? ive checked like everything and i dont know what i should do. if theres a forum already i must have missed it. my bad.

settings/sounds/ringertype/messaging/text. Im sure this info and much more is in your phone manual. :)

well ive done that but the ringers suckk. im wanting custom ringtones like songs and whatnot

have u tried this with the m1? because ive tried it but not with aac but when i try to get it onto my messaging ringers i would have to put the file into my content folder or the melodies or tones folder which i dont have access to...

Yes I make my ringers all the time and have for awhile now. It doesnt sound like you have power vision or you are doing something wrong. You cant use the usb cable to put ringers on your phone for text message alerts. I alson sent you a PM but I guess you havent checked it yet?
