M1 plugin for m4a Ringers

The m4a format has higher sound quality than the traditional amr ringer format. However when I attempt to download them into My Content I get the message that I need to download the m4a plugin for ringers. But I am not redirected or given any info as to where such a plug in exists for the Sanyo M1. Does anyone know of a place to download a m4a format plugin to play m4a format ringers?

There is no plug in. It means something is wrong with your converted file. I convert to m4a plus. Im not sure if that would make any difference though.

i convert using quicktime pro to .m4a and mine play fine too.

yeah ditto here too...never heard of needing a plugin and all my created ringers are m4a

The M1 can play the .m4a format just fine. Also, check the file size. Sometimes if you download an audio file that is too big, you will have problems with it.

If you are using focus it doesnt always work. Try a different uploader at rumkin.com or funformobile.com .
