About a year ago there was a great post that had 2 easy things to do to make a ringtone. One was the easy program to cut the song, the other was the uploader. I have since moved computers and can not remember it, please help. Ingrid

I know that I *personally* use a total of three "programs". Wavepad to edit (which is SUPER easy) and iTunes to make it an ACC (m4a) file type (just right click, and click "convert selection to ACC") and then either Focus (see at top of page) or funformobile's uploader. Either works... but it also depends on which phone you want the ring tones for... QCP or ACC.

I agree that Wavepad is the best. Its easy and free. http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/wpsetup.exe
Then you also need an SMS messaging system. I use Send-a-Phone which is also free. It works with the M1 and Samsung A900. Although I have found some phones that wont except the download from this app's site.

Wow, talk about plugging.... **rolls eyes**
I wouldn't go with that. Just go with the uploaders that we all know that you can trust, instead of some virus infested exe program.....
Okay.. on the ringers for the razrs, they use the same type (acc) just make sure that the file name is short... you also have to make sure that if you are using an uploader, specifically focus uploader, that the razr is a Sprint razr. If its not, then that's their problem.

iTunes is all you need. You can but pieces of any song you want and make a seperate AAC or MP3 ringtone.

Do you make a mp3 ringtone differently than an aac ringtone?
