can someone explain the difference?

I am looking to upgrade. I am eligible for $150 instant saving. Some phones have more than $150 web special discount. Do I only get $150 discount even if the web special discount says $200?

Some phones have both instant saving AND web special.

Some phones have ONLY web special discount.

Of course, i'll be renewing my contract for another 2 years.

A rule of thumb with sprint........... if your in contract, you can get the $150 off. If your out of contract (or soon will be) you can get new customer pricing.

Some sprint stores / 3rd party sellers give you new customer pricing if your eligible for the 22 month rebate.

Call *2 and ask........... or call your local sprint store and ask if they will price match sprint.com

I understand that part. My question is, if a phone has WEB SPECIAL discount of $270, do i get that or only $150 off?

Telesales told me(I am not sure if she knew what she was talking about) that I cannot get more than $150 off....

I am trying to understand what "WEB SPECIAL" is because the website doesn't really explain in details. I know what "INSTANT SAVING" is.

The web special seems to be pricing that applies to customers activating a new line of service.

If you are out of contract, you should be able to get whatever phone you are looking at online at the price a new customer would pay. It may take bending a couple arms to get the reduced web price, but it can be done.

This is true and I wouldn't go thru telesales for it. Call up retentions because thats what I did to get my 755p. I even had 6 more months on my contract and they gave me the $200 instant plus the $100 mail in. I got it on the first try but sometimes it takes a few calls and depends on what kind of customer you are. Good luck.
