Maybe they're updating the site. It seems to be changing by the hour.
Yesterday, going into the site didn't give you much except a list of the phones available anyway...

The usual email addresses still work for nextel. My prediction is they are making it possible to buy online without calling, and we will be back in business very soon. They may get rid of the emails that slip through, but maybe not.

Hope not. I was able to get in with savings@sprint.com yesterday and went today to place an order and its down. Hope its back up soon.
I've tried a ton of @sprint.com email address from google and none have worked. I think it's just broken right now.

I dont think its broken,,,I think its terminated. With all the advertisements on here, HOFO and other sites Sprint probably thinks it got too out of control. Everybody and their mother were calling CS and trying to get the plans. Im sure Sprint figures it has lost a lot of revenue by making it too publicized.
I hope not, but my gut feeling is that it is done.

I think SERO is done in respect to being open to the public with email addresses like savings@sprint.com. On the other hand, I think it will continue as a genuine referral plan from a Sprint employee.
This promo was only supposed to be good until the end of February. We are lucky that it lasted this long. Don't get me wrong, I hope it continues but it could have just as easily run its course.

i found the business card a manger gave me less than 2 months ago & it's not letting me enter the site either with his e-mail address...
might be updating it to reflect changes & block the "promotional" email addresses, we'll see

you can probably still get it if you get up off the computer and call some people. i never even needed an email address before. i just said "a friend in one of my classes that works at sprint... blah blah blah." and if it doesn't work with one rep, try another. anyone that's called CS before knows that news can travel pretty slow among some reps.

in the other "sero is gone" thread on here some people were able to call the number found on the site to sign up for sero still. they gave emails like "holiday@sprint.com".
i wouldnt be surprised if sprint is cuttin of inphonic. ALSO.. someone mentioned you can get any phone on sero now
either way.. i already have my sero ;)

Wow, after looking in to the site a little more, it's only one page now, and you HAVE to call in to order. There is no way to click on a phone or air card and order. Did notice that SERO now includes unlimited text messaging though, through June 30th. That should end the rumors that its getting shut down anytime very soon. Not a bad deal on the Treo WX either at $199.99

Sorry, just saw that it was posted in this thread today that the site wasnt working . It worked for me, so I thought I'd update the thread. I didn't see the other thread. I heard a while back UNLTD TXT was getting added to SERO, but this was the first time I had seen it on the page. I spend more time on the Wireless Advantage site than I do SERO. I rarely check SERO...I was just trying to give back to the community.

Doesn't Sprint do an "audit" of SERO accounts every few months and delete the SERO accounts that were signed up with, or linked to, an "illegitimate" e-mail?

Pleasd refrain from posting Sprint employee email addresses other than those given for the public to use (savings and holiday), even if you aren't sure that it's actually an employee's name

So if i call up, i can use savings@sprint.com and get a sero account?
I might have to get ridda my number and do this, unless i can somehow get my current account on it. But i need to first get it switched from my moms name to mine. Blah, pain in the ass.

Like those above, I wasn't asked for an email when I called and switched my number to a sero account. If you are asked, you could probably just say you have the promotion email and give them either holiday@sprint.com or savings@sprint.com. Or you could say thanks, hang up, and try again. I had great success with the Employee Accounts number.

My 1st call to the employee accounts number was excellent. My 2nd call to the employee accounts number was interesting. The csr got upset because I wasnt an empoyee. She said " we have limited staff and you really should be calling the main csr number; however, she was still pleasant and helpful but upset nonetheless.

I called earlier to subscribe. I told them a friend that worked for sprint gave me the savings@sprint.com address. He didn't have a problem with it. M610 is 79.99 through SERO but the dicount wasn't being applied properly.

Interesting. One time I called to activate a phone and change my SERO plan to the PV version from the Vision version. The rep I got was great. My activation and SERO plan change didn't go through when I tried to do it via *2 and the Activations dept. Then he told me that *2 reps aren't really trained to work with SERO and that his dept. (employee accounts) was. He didn't sound upset and made no mention of me calling the wrong dept.
I would just chalk it up to your rep having a bad day or maybe the dept. was actually understaffed at the time you called.

Called last night and got two SERO plans, one for myself and the other for my wife. Ordered two Treo 755p phones as well for the price listed on the web site. We are an existing customer in the last month of our latest contract.
The phone number goes to Telesales, no more Inphonic. Phones will be here on Friday.
I was never asked for an email address. I just told the woman I knew of the SERO plan and wanted to take advantage of it. She was very helpful and pleasent.

I was charged $129.99 for M610 and the SERO rep told me they would send me a mail-in rebate form for $50 ; however, in order to use the mail-in rebate you have to have a plan of $34.99 or higher (I think).
I hope it works out, or I'm out $50.
Plus, when I called Employee Accounts they told me my SERO plan did NOT have the Free Unlimited Text, so she kindly added it on to my account.
Also, I''m clueless when it comes to the "micro SD card". I seem to have 2 of them in my order?
One of them is tiny, and one is bigger? Why do I have 2 different sizes?
