Ive had the Motorola Q for a while now, and I am quite impressed with it. This is my first PDA/Smartphone, and my first Motorola. My last phone was an LG6100 on Verizon.
Pros
-very small, I think its less noticeable in my pocket than my last phone was
-keyboard is not perfect, but much better than T9
-I love the calender app, its the reason I got the phone
-I love playing NES games when I'm bored
-Big screen is great for surfing the web
-I like Windows mobile, it can be customized more than other phone interfaces
Cons
-The battery life sucks. At first I would try to go two days, and it would often die on me, but since I've accepted the fact it must be charged every night, I haven't had a problem.
-Alarm. Its kind of in an odd spot, and there is only one alarm, and it doesn't have any advanced features such as M-F settings. This is a small con since there are Alarm apps that can be downloaded.
-Calculator, not a good setup, but if I really cared I would download an app.
-No picture mail. There is a way around it sending an email to somebody's picture mail address, but its not as convenient.
-No sprint TV. If I wanted to watch TV on a 2 inch screen I would have Orb or slingox, so its not a big deal.
I haven't used bluetooth, so I can not comment on that. If you use the advanced features on a PDA, you may not be happy, but if you just want a basic smartphone without the bulk of a PDA, you cant go wrong.
Now that I've had it, I don't think I can go back to a standard phone, yet I dont want a bulky phone, so the Q is here to stay. I'll give it a 8/10, with most of the points being taken off for the keyboard being a bit difficult to type on at times, and lack of picture mail. I am perfectly happy charging a phone every night, so I didnt take off for battery life.
