View Full Version : A few (newb) Vision Questions.

Hello! I am completely new to the world of PDA phones (755p is my first) as well as vision plans from Sprint and I'm a little lost. I did some searching, but I guess I'm not searching right because I didn't find anything. I'm sorry if these are newb questions....

My first issue is with picture mail and text messaging. On the plan (which is the $25 one right now, but after the month, I'm going to the $15), you get free picture mail, but not text messages-so...is picture mail just a text message with a picture attached?

Next issue is with the Sprint Radio-I notice this is included, even with the $15 plan. My first question is-how do you get to it (I tried the pTunes on my phone with no luck)? Is it the music that is on Sprint TV? And if that is the case-if I don't have the Sprint TV (which I will be getting rid of), can I still use that to get the radio?

When you use email or instant messaging, is that included or are you charged like it's a text message?

Picture mail is sending video or Pictures from your phone to somebody else. It is free. And it is not text messaging. Text messaging is another charge. Picture messaging means that your phone will have to use Vision or power vision in order to send the pictures. Yes you can send email and instant messages this way too. Which also requires vision or power vision access.

With the Sprint radio you are only allowed access to certain area's. Anything else you'll have to pay extra a month for.
