15 ¢ per message if you have and I believe it counts against your total. I'm not sure about charges without a SMS plan.

if you do a search for "international sms" you´ll find that I've inquired about this about a dozen times. No one in Spain can receive my text messages. Curiously, in France they do receive them. I called telefónica, spain's biggest mobile company, and the told me that they have an agreement with Cingular and that's the only company whose SMS they guarantee to deliver. So if you're with sprint you're s.o.l. Sux.

that thing about having to have an international plan is b.s.; it's amazing how ignorant some of the reps at stores are. one of them told me the same thing.

That what e-care told me. They were wrong. In reality, International SMS is always billed at 15 cents per SMS, regardless of you text plan. I have unlimited texts plan and still pay 15 cents for each Intl text.
