I hope someone can help. My plan currently have UNLIMITED VISION so I can use unlimiited WEB and EMAIL and also any other applications on my TREO 650 that use the internet. Now If I get a new phone that has power vision BUT I dont want to pay for power vision but keep my unlimited VISION PLAN I already have, can I still use the web, email (versamail) and whatever applications I use on the internet? I am looking at the new 755P that is coming out and it is supposed to be POWER VISION. I dont want to have to pay extra for internet service if I dont have to since I dont plan to use the music or tv stuff power vision offers...

Some people have told me I can keep VISION and just have the slower speed and others tell me I need to get a power vision plan and pay more $$ which I dont want to do.

Thanks...

there are that were able to keep thier Vision, but I think a majority had to upgrade to PV. if you talk to the right person you may be able to get PV for $10

When I upgraded from Treo 650 with unlimited Vision (grandfathered) to 700p, I specifically told the rep I didn't want to make any changes to my plan, and she said it wouldn't, but the system automatically saw my new 700p as a powervision phone and started charging me per-kilobyte charges.

It may depend on who you talk to or how lucky you are, but I believe they have their system set up to automatically recognize if you have a powervision-capable phone, and require a powervision plan to go with it.

I just went from a Treo 650 to a Treo 700p and changed my Vision from the Picture Vision pack ($15 monthly) to Power Vision Plus Pack ($20 monthly). There is also a cheaper Power Vision Access Pack for the same $15 a month. I chose the plus pack because I wanted the Picture Mail and Sprint TV (since the 700p has it). The Sprint website has info on all the packages and features, but if you pass a Sprint store the have a brochure "Experience then Sprint Power Vision Network" which does a better job.

Actually all the Power Vision packs have unlimited web/data, not per kbite charges
