Ok I basically review the hell outa this phone, the N400, which by the way, i am very pleased with.
First off, the phone overall is very well designed, from the look, to the layout, to the menu look and options, the phone is full featured and with a speaker phone, it makes it very useful
N400 allows only 500kb, which is not alot, but for the average person, 500kb is more than enough if one is not constantly downloading pictures and ringtones (games).
The N400, as read in other posts, does freeze, but may i say, and back this up, rarely it freezes if ever, and the places it normally freezes is when shutting down. (but a new firmware is coming out, should fix problem :) )
The phone's midi software is good, not as good as the 5350, but u can definetly enjoy the phones polyphonic capabilities.
My biggest concern with the n400, is the absolutely horrible battery life. 2.9 hours of talk time? is that a joke? Luckaly, i do not have a problem with it, because im in school majority of the day and the battery does just fine on standby, but on weekends, when im up and about, (unlimited night and weekend plan i have) the battery is eaten so quickly is sick. Basically, Samsung needs to create a more powerful longer lasting battery.
My final concern about the phone is, its screen. Yes its wonderfully colored with 65k colors strong, wonderfully lit screen and good in the sun, tho, once the flap is shut, the light goes off. While the light is off, its practically impossible to read wats on the screen without turning on the backlight.
Overall, i give this phone an A. Its well made, many features, but does have its flaws, but its features make up for it. Definetly get this phone while its 50 dollars with activation.
Anyone who owns this phone currently, tell me what you think.
David
