Hello, I just got my Data card with Unlimited data usage last night. I wanted to test it out, so tested it at each stop I made today. I've done about 1 gig transfer today testing it out.

Just curious, how much can I honestly use?

I'm estimating that on average, I'm going to use 15-20 gigs/month just with my work.

Previously, I've been doing 3-10 gigs/month via my A900 using bluetooth.

that is more of a question for you to answer, alot of people i sell the cards to decide to go with the usb one (U720) because of it being interchangeable with there desktop as well

You should be able to transfer as much data as you want. I have yet to hear of anybody getting a "letter" from Sprint telling people that they are transferring too much data. However, Verizon Wireless has the 5GB cap that may have made you cautious in terms of data transfer over a cellular network.

Yah. I've been teathering since 2003, and have never had a problem. Just being cautious with all i've been hearing from Verizon.

I auctually got the USB one, for that very reason. I got the PCMCIA card free with the SERO data plan, but my Laptop only has Express Card slot (THANKS DELL YOU &^*).

But no biggie :) I hope Sprint doesnt turn into Verizon.

It's been fairly zippy thus far. Speed tests during the day at work are about 1.2mbit, and about 500 at home during the night. Upload is quicker then download for most of the day, must just be local usage. Others claim 2mbit+ speeds, but I've had problem hitting anyhting over 1.2, which still isnt bad at all.

Wirelessly posted (Sanyo 8400 & Novatel S720: Mozilla/4.0 (MobilePhone SCP-8400/US/1.0) NetFront/3.3 MMP/2.0)

the sprint datacard plans truly are unlimited in roaming and usage amount. Verizon is not.
