Some time ago I was reading something that the vision/pv plan for all pda's(6700,treo's, etc) was going up to $25 per month. Will this be an automatic switch or will we be able to keep the vision/discounted vision plan we already have? What will this $25 include? I'm currently paying $7.50 for the basic PV plan on my 6700, due to it being half off the main PV plan on a different phone. What if I wanted to switch phones for the weekend(ESN switch), would it automatically jump to $25 when I switch back? I'm also reading various posts about losing the rebate status I have if I switch phones to a previously activated phone(such as restarting the rebate status). Sprint CS doesnt seem to be much help, with several different answers. I dont want to pick the answer I want to hear, I want to pick the correct answer. So if anyone has a definitive answer(or at least a good idea) please post it here. Sorry to be so long-winded, but I cant seem to get a final answer.

You should keep your plan rate. The only trouble you would have is if you changed from a powervision plan to a vision plan or from a vision plan to a PV plan..

I have a $10 a month power vision plan and I have had 2 phones with it and it will never go away unless I get a none PV phone.

I wouldnt change between phones you might have a CSR that messess something up.

Oh well, that's too bad as I was thinking of using a non-PV phone on the weekends, because of its smaller size. But if I use a PV phone, will it affect my future rebates? I also have a smaller PV phone on the weekends.

It may or may not reset your rebate depending on the last time you used it. I believe that if you used your rebate during September 2006 or later, you should be able to switch phones without your phone rebate resetting since you would fall under the newest rebate terms and conditions. I am not too sure about the date, so hopefully somebody can clarify it for me, I would also be grateful. Do you know the last time you used your rebate?

I have never used my rebate on this phone, I have only had this line for a year, so I'm up to $75 so far, I want to take it to $150( and up!), so I dont really want to lose what I have.

I would recommend not swapping phones then. The only times I believe under the old "New For You" way you could keep your rebate status unchanged is when a phone is swapped out under ESRP or TEP. I myself am on my 3rd 6700 (first one had a cracked screen from a ride that threw me around and the second from my USB/Chargining Port breaking. Although I think somebody messed up since my status got reset due to my last swap according to the date listed on SprintRebates.com, so when my 2 years really does come around, I will get the error rectified).

Changing phones that often will probably cuse a problem, sprint might get upset and try and charge you an activation fee after a while.. Plus why would you want to waste 20 mins on a phone call to swap phones. Or add a phone for $10 a month to your line and you can get a brand new flip phone for free or like a katana for $50.
